Do You Rabbit/Pet Sit?
Lately I've been getting a lot of inquiries about the possibility of pet sitting. The answer is--absolutely!
Please contact me if you live near-ish to me and would prefer that I travel to your property to take care of pets. This can be done, but pricing will be based on the cost of fuel and distance traveled (not trying to make money, just cover costs).
Note to animal breeders/showers/enthusiasts: If you need care for more than 3 animals (any species). Please contact me to discuss costs. We can come up with a reasonable group rate.
Rabbits/Small Animals
On premises:
$5 per day if kept in barn
$7 per day if kept in barn and I need to provide food
$10 per day if kept in house (no difference if I provide food)
I do prefer that you bring them here. If it's a rabbit, or can survive in a rabbit cage, then don't worry about bringing housing. If it requires a specific habitat, then do bring it.
A note about the barn: I have a quarantine barn. This is for animals coming in to my herd (not necessarily sick rabbits) and this is where your animal will be kept if you're okay with the barn. My backyard is surrounded by an 8 foot fence, and I have 5 small dogs. Trust me, there's nothing getting near the rabbits that may harm them.
Cats/Dogs
$15 per day
I do have a kennel and room in my house for any other pets that you may have. Contact me to discuss pricing if we're talking more than 2 or 3.
